Code of Ethics
This Code of Ethics sets out the rules of conduct binding on all employees of M-CAST s.r.o. Its aim is to protect the good reputation of our company, support ethical decision-making, and ensure that our business is conducted in compliance with the laws, values, and principles on which we stand.
The Code has an internal character and serves as a binding framework for the daily conduct of every employee. The Code of Ethics is based on the company’s values and represents our values in practice.

1. Social Responsibility
Principle: A balance between economic growth, social contribution, and environmental sustainability.
Rules:
- We protect the environment and reduce our ecological footprint.
- We ensure a safe and fair working environment.
- We respect human rights, fair trade principles, and zero tolerance for discrimination.
- We communicate goals and results transparently.
2. Creating Value for the Customer
Principle: We build trust and provide solutions with real value.
Rules:
- We fulfil commitments and ensure quality service.
- We provide products and services based on their value.
3. Support for Innovation
Principle: We are constantly searching and improving solutions.
Rules:
- We search for new solutions that bring added value.
- We improve processes and systems.
4. Environmental Protection
Principle: The Code is binding on all employees.
Rules:
- We sort waste.
- We store and handle pollutants properly.
- We carry out maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- We strive for continuous compliance with legal requirements and ISO 14001.
5. Respect and Dignity
Principle: We honor the dignity of each individual.
Rules:
- We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.
- We prohibit discrimination based on gender, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, political belief, sexual orientation, disability, or any other status protected by law.
- We support the personal and professional growth of employees.
6. Integrity
Principle: We act honestly and transparently.
Rules:
- We reject bribes and inappropriate gifts.
- We provide truthful and accurate information.
- We avoid conflicts of interest.
7. Prohibition of Child Labour
Principle: We comply with legislation.
Rules: We do not employ persons under the age of 16.
8. Fraudulent and Corrupt Practices
Principle: Zero tolerance for fraud and corruption.
Prohibited:
- Theft, fraud, embezzlement.
- False invoicing.
- Accepting gifts exceeding €100 per year (excluding promotional items).
- Misuse of intellectual property.
- Reimbursement of expenses not related to the operation of M-CAST s.r.o.
9. Political Engagement
Principle: Employees may engage in political activities outside working hours, without using the company’s good name or resources.
Rules: M-CAST s.r.o. dissociates itself from any form of extremism, radicalism, or hate speech and does not tolerate them in the workplace or in connection with work activities.
10. Protection of Confidential Information
Principle: We protect all internal and sensitive data and disclose it only to the extent permitted by law or company management.
Misuse of confidential information includes:
- Disclosure of information from company IS.
- Disclosure of investment data or strategic plans.
- Disclosure of employee salaries.
- Copying or plagiarizing company records.
Obligations upon termination of employment: Return all documents, books, records, files, and identification items of M-CAST s.r.o.
Public information:
- General marketing materials (brochures).
- Information posted on bulletin boards in public areas.
- The company’s annual report and financial statements.
11. Conflict of Interest
Principle: We avoid situations where personal interests may influence work decisions. Every employee is obliged to report an existing or potential conflict of interest.
Related persons: Family members, partners, close friends or persons with economic interest..
Rules:
- Conflicts of interest must be reported openly, along with a proposed solution.
- Failure to disclose a conflict is considered a violation of principles.
Examples of conflicts of interest:
- Engaging in competition or business relations with M-CAST s.r.o.
- Business activities that prevent full job performance.
- Employing related persons without the director’s approval.
- Ordering products/services from a related person without permission.
Prevention:
- Conflicts must be reported to the director, exceptions are recorded in the company database.
Consequences:
- Violation of these rules may be considered gross misconduct and unjust enrichment at the expense of the company.
12. Scope and Feedback
Principle: The Code is binding on all employees.
Rules:
- Reports of violations must be addressed to the director.
- Confidentiality of whistleblowers is guaranteed.
- No sanctions against employees who provide information.
The above document is of an internal nature and is intended exclusively for employees of M-CAST s.r.o. The principles of conduct for illegal actions and actions that have a negative impact on our company for employees and third parties are regulated by Directive OS_021: “Reporting antisocial activities (OS_021)”.
